AzerPHA (AİSA) is non-profit, non-political organization.
I. Year of establishment – 1992. Registered by the Ministry of Justice in 1994. Until 2003 was acted as Azerbaijan Medical Students Association. In 2003 was renamed to AzerPHA
Its mission is to promote health for all communities in the country. At the present time, we join together about 30 persons mostly public health specialists, medical students and social workers. The purpose of establishing the AzerPHA was to promote solution of medico-social problems facing Azeri society.
During its activity AzerPHA work with the general public as well as the most vulnerable and outreach groups of population, i.e. adolescents, refugees and IDP's, drug users, people living with HIV/AIDS and so on. AzerPHA deal with not only medical but also social problems, engaged in such issues as creating necessary conditions for healthy lifestyle, promotion of education on primary healthcare etc. No doubt this is and important part of a huge conception of Public Health, which mean health of the population, nation and the country at large.
VI.Main Activities
Ø To improve situation with Public Health in Azerbaijan
Ø To provide facilities for its members in the field of professional investigations
Ø To provide medical and social support to refugees and IDP's
Ø To provide education in the field of STI, AIDS, drug abuse, smoking and other social diseases/problems
Ø To provide essential information on primary health care and promote healthy life-style

3. Public Health in an international level, UN Millenium Development Goals
4. HIV/AIDS a global epidemic. Etiology, clinic, laboratory diagnosis. Highly risky group of populations, prevention measures.
5. Drug abuse, injection drug use as a main way of spreading HIV/AIDS. Harm reduction programs.
6. Smoking and tobacco control. Different aspects of smoking problem – youth smoking, passive smoking, doctors and tobacco. Tobacco economics: benefit or damage? WHO initiated Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.

Azərbaycan Ictimai Sağlamlıq Asoosiasiyası qeyri-siyasi, gəlirsiz peşəkar təşkilatdır. Onun məqsədi cəmiyyətdə sağlamlığln təbliği və bu istiqamətdə praktiki fəaliyyətin aparılmasıdır.
Azərbaycan Ictimai Sağlamlıq Asoosiasiyası 1992-ci ildə yaranaraq Azərbaycanın yeni tarixində ilk qeyri-siyasi peşəkar təşkilatdır. 20 ildən artıq təcrübəyə malik təşkilat İctimai Sağlamlığın müxtəlif sahələrində onlarla uğurlu layihə həyata keçirmiş və həm Dövlət həm Beynəlxalq donorlarla əməkdaşlıq etməkdədir.
Uzun illər Ictimai Sağlamlığın müxtəlif sahələrində fəaliyyət göstərən təşkilat öz sıralarında həkim, tələbə, social işçilərdən ibarət peşakar komandanı birləşdirən birlikdir.
Təşkilat qeyri-siyasi, qeyri-dini, gəlirsiz təşkilatdır, onun fəliyyəti dini və mədəni mənsubiyyətindən asılı olmayaraq Azərbaycan cəmiyyətində olan bütün insanlara İctimai Sağlamlıq istiqamətində fayda verməkdir.
